Our Staff

Won is a master’s student in the Learning, Design, and Technology (LDT) program at Georgetown. He also joined CNDLS in August 2022 as a Graduate Associate and works for the Language Learning Technology Team.

Won, who is originally from South Korea and graduated from Iowa State University's Event Planning program, is enthusiastic about exploring new technologies and has conducted research and projects that connect cutting-edge technologies and event planning.

Now, he aspires to design new media technologies that engage students from marginalized backgrounds and reduce disparities in educational opportunities and outcomes. Specifically, Won hopes to conduct groundbreaking research and develop learning technology applications capable of delivering tailored training to support students who are not able to access quality education due to financial constraints.
