Anna’s passion for education has driven her career, starting as a language instructor at the U. S. State Department Foreign Service Institute and later transitioning to the curriculum design space. At Georgetown University, Anna designs and develops pedagogically effective online, hybrid, and other technology-enhanced courses in collaboration with faculty across the University and the CNDLS media team. Anna holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics and Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a concentration in Instructional Design and Technology. Her professional interests include evaluation, AI-supported active learning and data-driven decision making.

Anna is an early millennial with Russian and Korean roots. Born and raised in the southern region of Russia Anna is a non-native English speaker and a first-generation immigrant to the United States. Anna is a devoted partner-spouse and supportive mother. She enjoys fitness, yoga and camping.
