Various departments and groups at Georgetown, both within CNDLS and outside of it, provide valuable resources to care for our community. Here, we have included a sampling of some of these resources which may be useful to you as a community member looking out for your students.
If you are in need of a resource you do not see here, please continue searching on the Georgetown website and feel free to reach out to cndls@georgetown.edu for support.
Diversity resources
The university provides a strong network of diversity-related resources and services to support its campus community.
Georgetown Safety Net
The Safety Net is a forum managed by the Division of Student Affairs in which community members can submit information about a student who may be experiencing a challenging situation and needs help connecting to the appropriate resources for support. Please be sure to read the entire form before submitting a concern.
Note that Student Outreach & Support is not a confidential resource; however, all of your information will remain private as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Georgetown Counseling and Psychiatric Services
CAPS serves the mental health care needs of students and the campus community from our location on the main campus. CAPS operates both an office on the Hilltop Campus and a variety of virtual services.
Academic Resource Center
The Academic Resource Center provides students with academic strategies and individualized support needed for academic success and inclusion within the Georgetown community. CNDLS often refers to their policies and recommends the use of ARC resources, so make sure to check out their website and see how you can work with the ARC.
