Zhuqing currently serves the Georgetown community in advancing technology-enhanced education through learning design, media design, and technology implementation. She supports academic programs across the university to expand to online education with a rigorous online learning environment. She also serves on the digital learning committee where she advises on edtech research, pilot, and evaluation in addressing the growing need for creating engaging and immersive learning experiences.
Prior to her current role, she designed a broad portfolio of individual courses, MOOCs, certificates, and degree programs across many disciplines for the Georgetown community. She has also worked with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund to build capacity for government institutions through digital training.
Zhuqing’s current research interest is in transformative learning through art-based pedagogy in adult education as well as building teaching readiness amid technology disruptions. She is pursuing her doctorate degree in Human and Organizational Learning at George Washington University. She has an M.A. in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown and a B.A. in English and Linguistics from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In her free time, Zhuqing loves playing golf, painting, and learning a new language.
