Graduate Associate

Nate is a Graduate Associate at CNDLS, where he works with the Media team. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Communication, Culture, and Technology with a focus on combating misinformation and disinformation through journalism. He is exploring how smaller newsrooms can adopt strategies used by larger organizations to engage their communities and build trust through social media.
Originally from Vietnam, Nate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from American University. Before joining Georgetown and CNDLS, he worked as a multimedia reporter for a local newsroom in New Orleans, where he covered education, health, and politics.
In his free time, he loves driving to historical sites, listening to music, exploring new places, and taking photos. He is also trying to teach his cat Vietnamese.
