Assistant Director for Assessment

M.A. in Communication, Culture, & Technology; Georgetown University

Mindy enjoys putting her qualitative and quantitative research and analysis skills to use in conducting focus groups and student surveys for Georgetown courses, programs and special research projects. Mindy also assesses various CNDLS-related activities and efforts, such as faculty use of Blackboard’s CMS, use of clickers in the classroom, and students’ general education experience. Mindy recently co-authored an article in the January/February 2011 issue of Nurse Educator on using clickers for clinical reasoning and problem solving.

Mindy continues to be actively engaged in the Engelhard Project for Connecting Life and Learning, and looks forward to hosting the first Institute for the Study of Engaged Learning to be held at Georgetown in June 2011.

Outside of work, Mindy keeps busy singing and playing fiddle in the roots rock band, The U-liners, and running after a toddler.
