Zhuqing manages the design, development, support and evaluation of a portfolio of online courses and programs across many disciplines at the University. In addition to online programs, she also contribute to efforts in researching, piloting and implementing cutting-edge educational technologies in online learning spaces, and designing customized applications.
Zhuqing is passionate about exploring the dynamics of project management and making connections to build a collaborative team culture. As a project manager, Zhuqing works closely both with internal and external partners and has successfully launched a wide variety of digital learning products for students, professionals, officials and the general public (including Georgetown’s first MOOC which enrolled over 30,000 students worldwide!). Zhuqing appreciates the joy of the MOOCs, which bring knowledge boundlessly to every corner of the world. In addition to working jointly with faculty and staff, she also mentors and supervises a group of talented graduate associates.
Zhuqing has an M.A. in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown, where she was awarded an honors certificate by the Landegger Program in International Business Diplomacy. She gained her B.A. in Applied Linguistics from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In her free time, Zhuqing loves skiing, and learning how to cook dishes from world cuisines.
