As a Graduate Associate at the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship, Robert supports the Apprenticeship in Teaching Program.
Robert Yates is a first year M.A. English student. Upon earning an M.Phil. in Education from the University of Cambridge, Robert began teaching secondary language arts in DC before joining the Literacy and Humanities team in the Office of Teaching and Learning at DC Public Schools. At Georgetown, he researchers early modern and modern drama, semiotics, ambiguous endings, and pedagogy.
During the handful of hours not devoted to study or work, Robert enjoys watching the most recent installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and finding new places to run in the city.
