B.A., English, University of San Diego
Emily Bezold is currently a first year in the M.A. English program at Georgetown, and a Graduate Assistant for the Apprenticeship in Teaching Program at CNDLS. She previously attended the University of San Diego, where she graduated with a B.A. in English and minors in History and Classical Studies. Her undergraduate studies covered a Whitman’s Sampler of topics including various types of literature (her favorites were always Shakespeare or the Romantics), mediums (including written text, film, and Broadway musical), and cultures (both Western and Eastern). Her plan is to teach high school (hopefully AP) English courses for a few decades, have a pet cheetah and fox at some point, then retire in Celebration, FL, to fulfill her dream of being the monorail driver at Walt Disney World, ensuring that everyone has a magical day.
