Emperatriz Ung

Emperatriz is an M.A. candidate in the English program at Georgetown University. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico in 2014 with a B.A. in English and a minor in Media Arts. Her research interests include the application of computational tools to study avant-garde poetry, as well as women's labor in the history of computation, and moves toward born-digital writing in the twentieth-century. She is thrilled to continue work as a second-year fellow at the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship where she assists with the Doyle Engaging Difference Program.
