Clare Reid

B.A., Classical Civilization, Emory University

Clare is a second-year M.A. candidate in English focusing on world Medieval literature. She hails primarily from Atlanta, Georgia, where she also attended Emory University and studied ancient Greek and Roman history, society, and culture; particularly focusing on the role of women in the propaganda of the early Roman Empire. In her work at CNDLS, Clare is the Graduate Associate for the Apprenticeship in Teaching Program and is passionate about Universal Design for Learning and inclusive pedagogy. Her current research focuses on the artistic and literary works of monastic women in the Middle Ages. In her spare time, you can find Clare knitting, talking about science fiction and fantasy, or watching college football.
