TLISI 2011

Teaching, Learning, and Technology

TLT Logo

The Teaching, Learning, and Technology Initiative will bring together staff members from CNDLS and the Gelardin New Media Center to help faculty generate projects that use technology to advance particular learning goals and instructional interactions. The resulting curricular projects will deeply address a conceptual topic or teaching challenge and employ assessment activities to track student progress, shifts in teaching practice, and how technology mediates these.

At TLISI, TLT participants will attend sessions with members of the other two TLISI cohorts to share ideas about broader issues of teaching and learning, in addition to attending sessions and workshops with a more specific focus on technology.

Attendees of the Teaching, Learning, and Technology summer workshop will be eligible to apply for a year-long fellowship to undertake one or more changes to their teaching, implement the change(s), and report out on the impact. Fellows will receive stipends and participate in communities of practice in order to share ideas with colleagues throughout the implementation year.
