Before coming to CNDLS as the financial administrator, Alfred served as an accountant for British Telecommunications, Jeffers Trucking and Riggs Bank. In addition to his professional endeavors, Alfred maintains several philanthropic interests through volunteering with organizations such as the Compassion Center, Washington Area Food Bank and the ARIBA Community Development Corporation. After a decade in the DC Metro area, he has worked with many organizations, including the National Institute of Health where he was a Physical Therapy Volunteer, interacting with patients and researching at the NIH library. With a dozen years of financial advising experience, Alfred hopes to contribute to the success and productivity of CNDLS and their many projects.
CNDLS' Graduate Student Associates (GAs) share our staff's enthusiasm for all that fosters the scholarship of teaching and learning. Every Graduate Associate is an integral part of the CNDLS team and participates fully in the atmosphere of open communication, teamwork, and sharing of knowledge and ideas. GAs dedicate most of their time to working closely with Georgetown University faculty members and students on academic and professional projects; they also participate in a variety of CNDLS and university-wide projects and events.
