Hardware Purchases

Hoya Computing coordinates with Dell and Apple to produce computer “bundles” specifically for the Georgetown community at competitive prices. For institutional purchases, standard configurations have been established. (See Purchasing Computers on the Hoya Computing site.) Any new computer purchase must meet those standards to receive technology support from UIS.

If you need high-end computing equipment or help in purchasing a desktop computer customized for your needs, please contact the UIS Help Desk at 7-4949. Or contact the Advanced Research Computing Group.
