GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY SOCIAL SCIENCES DATA ARCHIVE (GUSSDA)

The Georgetown University Social Sciences Data Archive (GUSSDA), a project supported by the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) and UIS, is a resource that provides readily accessible high quality 'real world' data to faculty and students for their research and teaching purposes.

Data holdings in GUSSDA have dramatically increased in recent years. To access GUSSDA, please visit the web site http://gussda.georgetown.edu.

The mission of the GUSSDA is to collect, preserve, and distribute survey, census, and other research data of interest to the Georgetown community, especially to the Sociology, Government, and Economics departments, as well as to public policy, health care, and educational researchers. The GUSSDA provides access to the following data archives:

  • Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) & Special Topic Archives
  • Health and Medical Care Archive
  • International Archive of Educational Data
  • National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging
  • National Archive of Criminal Justice Data
  • National Archive of Mental Health Data
  • MicroCase Data Archive
