Catalogs
GEORGE is the catalog for the holdings of most of Georgetown's libraries. Start your search by typing in your terms on this page, or click the GEORGE home link for more detailed instructions. GEORGE includes materials from the:

  • Lauinger Library for the humanities, social sciences, business, government publications and audio-visual materials
  • Blommer Science Library
  • Dahlgren Memorial Library for the biomedical
    sciences
  • Woodstock Theological Center Library
  • National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature

Click on the WRLC link to search the holdings of the Washington Research Library Consortium. As a Georgetown faculty member, you can borrow materials from any of the eight WRLC libraries. Follow the More Catalogs link for access to the Law Library's catalog, the Library of Congress catalog and WorldCat, which lists the holdings of thousands of libraries worldwide.

Databases
To locate databases that will help you find periodical articles and data, choose a broad area (e.g. Social Sciences) or a specific topic (e.g. Anthropology) from the drop-down boxes on this page, or click on the Research Advisor link. You can also access a complete, alphabetical list of all databases and a list of databases available from off-campus.
