Coding Data Resource Kit
http://www.scu.edu.au/schools/gcm/ar/arp/grounded.html
This site provides an overview of grounded theory, a qualitative research method based on data observation rather than the testing of a hypothesis. The site’s author discusses the phases and processes—such as note-taking, constant comparison, coding, memoing, sorting and writing—that culminate in the discovery or emergence of the theory implicit in a given set of data. This discussion focuses on the applications of grounded theory for psychology research and includes an extensive annotated bibliography.

http://kerlins.net/bobbi/research/qualresearch/
Kerlins.net provides a well-organized guide to a wealth of resources concerning all aspects of qualitative research. Includes links to syllabi for qualitative research methods courses, teaching tools, discussion groups, journals, software, and more. Kerlins.net also features a comprehensive bibliography including methods references, discipline-specific applications, and dissertation proposals featuring qualitative research.

by Rob McBride and John Schostak
http://www.uea.ac.uk/care/elu/Issues/Research/Res1Ch4.html
This site provides an introduction to action research, a qualitative method concerned with finding ways to improve social situations. McBride and Schostak define the action method and its constituent steps and provide guidance on practice of the method, including data collection and analysis, the building of theory, and the development and implementation of action plans. This site does not include a bibliography.

http://www.sas.upenn.edu/anthro/CPIA/METHODS/Context.html
This site provides a brief introduction to the theoretical framework that informs contemporary ethnographic research methods. The site identifies key theorists and provides summaries of their most influential ideas. A brief bibliography and several links encourage students and scholars of anthropology and related disciplines to familiarize themselves with the theories behind their methods.
