Communication Tools
Blackboard offers several ways to enhance class participation as well as instructor-to-student and student-to-student interaction outside of the classroom. Sending email via Blackboard is similar to sending email via using any other e-mail program. However, Blackboard includes a presorted email list for all users in your roster, so there's no need to type out each student's email. The discussion board is another tool used for written communication. However, messages are organized and posted to forums, accessible to all members of a class.

This section includes 2 video tutorials which cover:

  1. How to send email
  2. How to use the Discussion Board
